Not painted but coloured with special colour paste sold for this purpose – Ask in a car accessories store

Didn't do it myself but had a professional paint shop do it.
See picture in "Pictures of my car" post. It's the red one with the colour coded spoilers. I gave them the paint code and they were able to match the original colour perfectly.
I was quite impressed.
