Changing oil on a SC can suck big time

I was adding some fresh oil yesterday and check the oil level before starting the car. Nada. Turns out the oil filler hose got detached from under the SC manifold. Not having a 3rd car to drive to work this week I had to remove the supercharger intake to reattach the hose. Took me a good 3 hours to have the car ready. The first time I removed it it took 3 months to get it back together, lol.
As soon as I get another car I will powder coat everything again and make it SITM-presentable.

if the hose came off it might be an indication that the hose is oil soaked and thus not capable of being clamped securely.
I had a coolant hose blow off of the waterpump due to this same problem , the hose got oil on it and after a while began to get soft, and then it was no longer capable of holding the pressure even with the clamp tightened. So I would suggest that you replace the hose with a new piece and possibly try using a hose made for power steering
