My control head works just fine, blows as it should on 0-3, HVAC actuators all work as should, but this is odd.
Sometimes I turn the unit off, and the key is off and out of the ignition, and I can turn the fan control speed and it still blows. Off setting the blower still blows at minimum, crank it up to 3, blows hard. Key is out of ignition.
What could cause this. I've had the HCU out and cleaned the contacts. This is not all the time, maybe once a month and now it won't shut off, no matter how many times I move the lever to off.
Try swapping the blower relay for the horn relay as above - if that doesn't work - pull the VI (X-Bus Repeater) relay, does that stop it? If yes - swap that relay for the horn relay and see if it works correctly - if yes relay is sticking and needs replacement. If removing it solves it - but replacing the relay you continue to have the same issue - then its your ignition switch X-Bus staying on - try wiggling the switch... You'll probably have to replace it...
