Post Use of flexible drive to turn supercharger?

Has anyone ever considered the use of a flexible drive to turn a supercharger? Just for kicks I picked up an Eaton M90 from a Thunderbird SC I found at a salvage yard for $350. They seem to be selling on e-bay for $200-$250 I later found out.
Given it's size (L=6in, W=8.1in, H=6 to 10in) the best place for it seems to be at the rear of the engine over the passenger side valve cover. In this area very little if any hood mods would need to be done. It seems the use of a flexible drive would ease the fitting process here.
If any of you engineering types have any opinions on this I would love to hear them.
TIA

You need to calculate the amount of horsepower you're going to need. Probably over 30. That's a tall order.

Chris,
Thanks for your reply. At 5 psi the max HP needed to turn the M90 would be just under 30 hp. <a href="http://www.automotive.eaton.com/product/engine_controls/M90.html" target="_blank">M90 power graph</a>
For my application it may be quite a bit lower.

Flexible drives tend to wind up and not really last all that long. If you could somehow run the flexible shaft at a higher speed, thus minimizing the torque, you might be in business.

Thanks John.
I had read that on a vendor's site somewhere. I know that the range of 30hp would be a lot for a flexible drive. I don't know the torque ratings the supercharger requires though. They could be like a Honda engine, alot of HP and very little torque.
