Help me ID this part....

I think this is some kind of shield to help trigger the hall sensor but I'm just guessing here. My problem is, I have the workshop manuals and can't find it anywhere!
I'm about to change out the cam sprockets and replace the seals behind them and wanted to check out the procedure but no where do I see the description or a drawing of what my car looks like, neither this part or even the 3 pronged piece that is under this on the end of the cam shaft!
Can anyone tell me what page it's on? Also, I sent an email to Jim Morehouse to try and buy his CD but I don't know if he got it...anyone have a line on how to buy the CD?

For whats is worth its part # 928 105 460 01. My 87' has one on both sides sandwiched in between the gear and the 3 pronged piece.
PET calls in a "rotor trim", the 3 piece part we are referring to is called "hub".

Remember if you take the gear off you need to reset your timing!

In the WSM I see the hub but not the rotor trim.
I don't think I have the rotor trim on my driver side, haven't removed the sprocket on that side yet but it doesn't look like it's there. That's why I thought it had to do with the Hall sensor being only on that side and the way the side of that piece has a void in it's edge like a window. It seems like the sensor is lined up with that area and would "see" a sudden change in magnetic field each time that void went by.
As to having to reset the timing, it looks to me that the woodruff key keeps everything where it was when switching out the sprocket with the exception of the elongated holes that control where the rotor is relative to the sprocket/cam, it looks like there are a few degrees of play there. I'm assuming this positioning can be set using Porkens cam tool that I'm anxiously awaiting! If anyone could comment on the accuracy of my assumptions there please do!!

The cam gear slots have roughly two teeth movement, or 15° crank.
It's rarely in the middle to start with, so there's usually less adjustment in one direction, advance or retard. Sometimes the gears have been installed one tooth off, and instead of rethreading the belt, mechanics will max out the slot in an attempt to get the timing right.
I mailed out all of the US 32V'rs earlier this week, so they should be arriving today, or early next week.
