My experience with Textar's is they produce a lot of dust. Mintex has a low dust pad that I used on my 89GT. I was happy with them, but that was almost 6 years ago. I havn't really kept up with brake pads. I am currently running Textars front and rear on the GTS and plan to go to a low dust pad when the time comes.
I believe the Porsche dampeners are the best way. Brake squeal is usually from the pad vibrating when they are applied. The Porsche dampeners have the little spring clip that locks them in the pistons and the adhesive keeps them attached to the pads. Napa (and others I'm sure) sells a brake pad anti-squeal coating. Goes on like tar or permatex and remains very sticky, but I've had it fail on a previous car after several thousand miles. Also chamfering the leading edge of the pad helps but as the pad wears the chamfer goes away and the squeal comes back. Plus chamfering reduces the total swept area of the pad.

Yeah that brake anti squeal spray is great stuff. I will try the Porsche dampers. They are probably $3 each or so and i need 8 of them. Probably not a bad idea.
As for low dust pads? Did you have any other make in mind? I see hawke and pagid for GTS calipers but those are expensive and designed for track use mainly.
The Mintex are $55, far and away the cheapest, i think i will start there, if they suck then i can find something else later. I wasnt planning on doing all this brake work now, but now that i know whats wrong I cant wait to buy the new rotors and install everything.

BG makes a product that is called "StopSqueal" that goes on the face of the pads that is very effective at reducing squeal.
I am not sure if it reduces the amount of friction that the pads are capable of or not.
