My sincere apologies to Ryan-
I hereby extend my sincere apologies to Ryan for ragging him about anything.
Many of us here and on other forums do jab at each other a little, and hopefully we can all just understand that no personal harm is intended.
Some of us, including me, have given others more grief than we should have regardless of what the debate is about, and some having little sense of humor take it personal or have no idea of other things happening on this forum (or others).
I obviously drug this along with Ryan way to long, and I do apologize.
At least I didn't call him a "*****"..........

I apologized to RP for the exact thing while he was up here in DFW last week. Like he said, it's the internets and personalities are not easy to read by typing.

Ok I guess its about time i respond
To be honest I don't know why this thread exists. I don't know why you think you feel the need to apologize to me. The thread almost seems sarcastic thats why i hadn't bothered to respond to it but since this isn't getting abyssed and people will wonder why i don't say anything I have to now respond and this is the response your going to get.
I assume this is all in response to the thread on porting heads in which a heated debate started about Mopar cars in my beloved 928 forum. Here are the facts, If i hadn't quoted your post the thing would be 2 pages shorter and i wouldnt have ever had to type that god awful word "Hemi." But I did quote it because i thought your initial response was stupid and that you had no idea what you were talking about. You remind me more and more of DanglerB every time you comment this way. I was in the Pelican Forum lastnight trying to read up on a certain individual that's trying to sell TT kits and Its funny because i see your name there with your replies and your trying to compare the 928 to a big rig of all things. I assume your a truck driver and this is what you know so your trying to contribute, what that is i have no clue. I think that if you don't know what your talking about, you just keep quiet, or state your theory. I find allot of your posts to be contradictory to the purpose of the thread and quite often i find you posting idea's that seemingly are far outside your comfort zone. If you know so much about 8.0L diesel inline 6 engines in 18 wheelers, I am sure someone can appreciate that information, i dont think such things are necessary in ANY 928 forum. These type of posts are the things that put you on my radar and now ive decided to simply hit ignore as its not worth getting into a pissing match with you over god knows what.
The Hemi debate was fun, to a point! I made mention of an inventor in India that was modifying the combustion chamber with divets of some sort and putting them on the tops of the combustion chambers and pistons. I remember it being about fuel economy and or power production. I dont remember anymore then that and when i tried looking up the article which i read in a magazine 4-5 years ago i was unsuccessful. The thread was about heads and the combustion chamber was the current topic and since modifications were being discussed, I thought I would share but no one here seems to have read that same article. You claimed so boldly that Chrysler was already doing this of course with your line "Can you say Hemi" which really annoyed me because .....well you already know my opinion of them and its not worth repeating IN A PORSCHE FORUM. The thread started to discuss Porsche V Chrysler in racing and I was waiting for someone to tell me when they actually beat Porsche in racing (Which i still haven't researched and still don't believe) But had it been shown i was willing to give credit where credit was due.
That was all fine until you made some completely moronic comments about me by suggesting that because i didn't like American cars that in some way made me UNPATRIOTIC, and then you latter did one better by I GUESS suggesting that I was filing a lawsuit against you or something else completely stupid. You later of course pawned both off as "bad jokes"
This leaves us here, today and my response to you right now. I find the apology to be sarcastic based on your behavior before (as detailed above) and for the simple fact that i don't understand it. Your not apologizing for the stupid comments you made about me, your apparently sorry for starting a debate with me in which an apology isnt necessary. Like i said i strongly differ with you as in what makes a great car and a run of the mill car. I'm not right, your not right, its a debate and ending on what a person values our opinions will differ in this regard. There is no apology needed for this.

The guys in Dallas could all probably tell you first hand that a sense of humor is the last thing missing from me. Again this is another backhanded slap in the face in whats supposed to be taken seriously as an apology?

I said previously I have nothing against you, ive never attached you personally, But i will say I have absolutely no interest in ever meeting you, I really could care less what you have to say about ANYTHING and from this point I am going to go out of my way to ignore you and pretend you just don't exist. Or maybe you'll do something really brilliant and you'll just disappear. I don't know, I really don't care.
All this being said, all this drama that your continuing to stir up with a new thread with my name in it (in a technical forum of all places) I will leave you with this, if you don't want to keep at this, just don't respond to me, and i will do the same and not respond to you. I think thats the best course of action here. This could have all been dealt with with a simple PM to me had you been sincere in wanting to clear the air. The method of "publicly" posting about this small issue and now getting many more people's attention and creating a spectacle then probably ever cared or even noticed seems to me as a way of getting attention or something. This is in the same vein as lowmiler seems to do every few days on that other site. It wreaks and I dont buy it! All its done is thrown fuel on the fire and made this a much bigger issue then it needs to be.
Write a response if you like, but i suggest you close this thread and let sleeping dogs lie. I don't have anything more to say to you, again i have no interest at all in ever meeting you. I think you've gone too far with this thread and I really wish you would get back to your "paint removal process" and leave me out of your threads and not throw your dirty laundry all over Rennlist.
Oh and bring on the popcorn smileys if you really must, this is better then soap operas. But to the OP, I really prefer you just close this thread.
