The first video was the worst example of bad driving I think I've ever seen. That A-hole deserved to get caught and I'm disappointed he didn't. He was passing on the right, cutting off other drivers, driving on the shoulder of the road and never once used a turn signle that I saw. Plus his speed was way to high for the traffic he was in. There's a time to drive these cars like they were designed to be driven and a time when it's just not right or smart. Those jerks don't deserve to have such high performance cars.

The second video the cop was cool! He could have created alot more aggravition for all of them, instead he just let them know that there were lots of complaints.

The third video, well stupid gets it's rewards. A RH turn from the LH lane, what did he expect. Dragstrip start from a light without looking for oncoming traffic. I don't care if the light was green (and it was).

Great vids, thanks for posting them Hacker.

My fav part was in Vid #1: the navigator in the (fooking awesome machine) Ford GT was plainly getting more and more annoyed at babysitting his greenhorn driver. The idiot wanted to talk on the cellphone while weaving through not-light traffic at triple digit speeds, had NO clue where he was going, and thought that the "State Police Next Exit" sign meant that exit led directly into the state police barracks. I was waiting for him to smack the GT into the back of a truck, but I think that car's demigod abilities let him make some epic saves easily.

Vid #2: That was probably the coolest cop in America.

Vid #3: pwnd

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
IIRC, Andrew got popped for exactly 108 mph - AND LET GO WITH A WARNING!
VID #1
Looks like fun! If you haven't successfully outran the cops, you don't know how good it feels! That cop had no chance against 500hp cars. Sure, dangerous, but life is pretty hazardous anyhow. Men are supposed to be somewhat dangerous!
...and 500hp cars have no chance against Motorola. You can't outrun the radio transmissions the cop behind you makes to ALL of the cops ahead in LEO-saturated America. That's why the GT's navigator knew enough to get them off the road and hide, which costs precious time in a cross-country rally... but not as much as getting arrested and your $$$ car towed.
The main point of Vid #1 is the necessity for extreme speeders to have an A) arsenal of electronics for LEO detection and eavesdropping, plus B) a team of cars in continous communication working together to track the LEO's movements. If you caravan to SITM, everyone either get hooked up with a high-end walkie-talkie system or take a few minutes and program your "running team" 's cellphone numbers into your phones. Then rotate which car runs point and which cars hang back. For the long open stretches, the point navigator should have a pair of binoculars trained on the median and roadside ahead. All cars should have good radar detectors. And let your dang navigator do the chatting!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Warren: if you like this sort of thing, search Youtube for a white Ford GT and a Z06 blasting thru Detroit during that same Bullrun rally. They make this vid look tame. I would post embeded vids but am now at work where Youtube is locked out of my reach.

Also, search for the delicious vids from GT3000. Excellent footage of Gumball rallying across Europe.

Edit for my previous late-night post: Andrew was not exactly "let go", as he did recieve a ticket and fine, but was not cuffed 'n stuffed as is the usual practice for being busted over 100 mph.

I was sweating bullets! I thoguht for sure I was going to get ciffed & stuffed. It probably would be wise to do a bit of research to see which states will stuff you if you go 100+. Talk about a way to ruin a vacation.

I'm pretty sure they are a laser jammers. If you listen when they go by the cop, not only is the V1 going off in laser mode, but you also hear a single tone going off for quite a while. That's what the "Blinder Extreme" laser jammer sounds like.

I hope I'm never on the same road with my family as someone who thinks he is filming "GumBall Rally IX".

These cars were meant to be pushed on the track, not on the interstate highways with grandma's and soccer mom's carrying kids around.

Grow up.....
