I have an OB MY 1982 with the leather speaker covers. The PO removed old amp and cut wires at that location. I have been able to find the drivers side rear as seen below. However, I have not been able to locate the passenger side rear speaker in that group of wires.



I pulled up the carpet slightly behind the passenger seat near the rear seat where wires run. I found 3 bundles of wires. #1 – Large Clear covered bundle containing many wires, #2 - small black fabric covered bundle 2-3 wires inside and #3 – medium black electrical tape type covered bundle that feels like 2 wires inside.

Do any of these bundles contain the passenger side speaker wires?

Being impatient as I am I took a dive and opened door #3. Sure enough that was the speaker wire for the passenger side rear speaker. Brown/White and Green/White. You can see them on the first picture near the Left Rear Speaker circle.

THe problem is that the speaker does not work. Damn Now I have to take off the rear quarter panels.

.....Now if I can find that post on the removal of the rear panels......
