Just wrecked (928 was at home)
Going to work, a lady that just had eye surgery decided to risk driving her car to take some pills to his sick nephew across the road. She ran the red light going appr 25 mph. I was in my wife's Jeep Liberty CRD 2005 going 45 mph. She hit me on the driver's side front fender. The Jeep made a 360 + 180 (LOL degree) before it came to a complete stop. Front is gone, rear passanger side is damage, other side as well, front a-arm broken, , front rims/tires damaged, driver's side door opened but won't close. Airbags did not deploy (weird). You guys be careful out there.

Bad luck that you got hit BUT good luck that it was NOT a T-bone. You might want to see a doctor and document that you are having some pain and stiffness ....get it on record NOW... if you think you got jerked around in the accident just wait until the insurance adjusters get a hold of you !

Be sure to get a NICE rental car that expense everyday helps MOTIVATE the adjuster to make a reasonable settlement offer. They will also want you to sign off on any medical claims that too can be part of the negotiation. Keep in mind that neither insurance company is on your side !! It sucks when through no fault of your own you have to work out a settlement and go buy a replacement car.

I TOTALLY and EMPHATICALLY agree with Jim's advice. DO NOT SIGN anything for a year until you know you are alright physically and mentally. Do not trust anyone from either insurance company. They are a bunch of ******.
And DO rent a suitable car and NEVER give it up until you are made whole. I have this on advice of an insurance adjuster who was very good at his job and also a Porsche afficianado. Throw away the book on good Karma coming to those who do good and with good attitudes; there is not going to be any good Karma come out of this. Only acceptable recovery if you are lucky. No matter how good your attitude is. Don't believe anything you have ever heard in church, either, because it doesn't apply in instances like these. Before its over, both siides will have you wondering if you are Satan himself and caused this all on your own. Bunch of f*****g ******, all of them.

Gio, sorry to hear that and I'm glad you're ok. That was a nice Liberty too, diesel with a tow package. But the important thing is you're all right and please at least follow Ron's advice, if not his passion. Take care.
