Original or Aftmarket Y-Pipe?

This should probably be on Hacker's novice thread, but...
Can anyone tell if this is original our aftermarket from these horrible pix?

Set of MSDS headers joined to 3" going into 2½" single, IMHO no the system is not factory original.
Seen better welding work as well, however still a very nice setup.

I have a very similar setup on my 79, perfect upgrade for a 16V.

Thanks for the help guys.
One more thing, any idea what sort of horsepower gain you would expect from these, assuming all else is stock.
I went to the MSDS web site. It said that all their headers were at least 14% with 928's getting up to 23%.
I assume the 23% is for the 32V crowd. Can I safely guess 18-20%?
