Post S4 Caliper Removal Question

I need to resurface my rear calpiers. What size are the bolts that hold the rear calipers on an 89 S4? Is that size in the factory tool kit? I am away from my workshop, and have no tools.
Thanks

Those bolts were relatively easy for me to get out when I was doing my brake job. A large torque wrench did the trick. The front caliper hex bolts were like they were welded on. I broke 3 hex / sockets (2 actually broke... the other flew into the garage bermuda triange) and I had to take it to a shop to have them get the bolts off. The rears are much easier.

Those front bolts are a perfect use for an impact screwdriver with the hex bit installed. The impact from the hammer and the concurrent twist will often break loose bolts that seem to be one with the housing.

It might be OK to buy a cheap impact screwdriver, but invest wisely in a better set of allen drivers to go with it. Sears sells a set that's pretty durable. After that you get to go to the Snap-On truck to get a premium tool.

I'm pretty sure there aren't more than a few tools I don't need to own. (Where's Geno when you need somebody to educate on the merits of multiple redundant negatives in a sentence?...)
