No affiliation, just suprised that the bids aren't higher.

Anybody know this car?

I saw the car a couple years ago (assuming its the same) It wasnt in very good shape, and it didnt run then either. IIRC the fiberglass was cracking and paint was crazing. If there is any really serious interest, i could go and take a look again. It was only about 15 miles away from my office.

I don't know the car - but with a salvage title, no trans, needing a new tbelt, hoses, tires, and all other rubber, just from old age, and add 1 positive feedback in 6 years of great eBay - I'm not surprised at the low bids
Love the headlights - not

Hey Hans - thanks for the info. I'll pass, I was hoping it was a minty example that had been overlooked.

How are your projects coming along?

With a spare tranny, it could be a fun project, but if the body is crap, forget about it.

If the car does need a repaint and I say IF , you never know what you might uncover as you remove the checked cracked paint for a respray. I would think anyone interested needs to personally see the car.

Here's one from FL. No affiliation! I know NOTHING about the car except it's a '78 with an asking price of $12,995.

Wow!

Wonder is it's still a 78 (motor, etc) under all that bling.

sorry those wide bodies look like ****. Maybe thats why the bids are low?

from dead on in the front it doesn't look too bad, the rear end shot is ok but anything from the side it looks terrible.

I would say $5000 max for a non running salvage S4. (assuming you loved the look of the body kit.)

Well looks like its already over 5000.00. But Ryan your right I might be interested at 5000.

I read somewhere here what happens to the tranny when towed but forgot. Anyone know what to expect after the towing on rear wheels?

Salvage, sitting, non-runner, needs lots of mech work, perhaps some body work. $5k is a great bid. Take it and run.
