Default 928 INT Visit

I have been in California this week on business and while I was in Socal I made a point to take a trip to 928 Int. While most people may want to see Disneyland or the Angels while in Anaheim..... I wanted to see 928 engines body panels and torque tubes. Call me crazy but I was happy I went.

I had a chance to walk around and tour the facility and I was able to see an S4 being stripped right there in the garage. There wasnt much meat left on the bone. Surprise, surprise, the phone didn’t stop ringing the entire time I was there, but the gang took some time to chat a little before I left with some items just small enough to fit into my carry on suitcase.

Thanks for taking some time to meet me guys. Next time someone has to do something about the traffic on those freeways! I couldnt do that everyday. The traffic in Socal makes Boston traffic look like rush hour on St. Barts.

Side note- I did see a blue 928S (5 speed) while I was in Long Beach I am not sure if it was anyone here.

Was there on Monday and was very impressed. I counted around 20 16v engines on one shelf. Very organized. I could have spent an entire day there picking parts I wanted. The wife was concerned I'd come back with more than was requested of me. I want to go back.

One of my first resources when I need something for my Shark.

Try to make it out for Sharktoberfest. Mark & the folks at 928INT host the event.

Great bunch of folks and always helpful.

I hope to someday also meet these guys and maybe pick up a few items in person.

I lived in SoCal four years and thought the same. Everyone in the Boston area and Northeast complains about traffic but nothing compares to SoCal during rush hour. Only time I complain about traffic anymore is when I use it as an excuse for being late.

Cool.
I would love to go sometime, but probably a little to far away, only about 2124 miles.

We manage to draw cars from all over the country to Sharktoberfest each year. New Jersey and Toronto 928 owners battled it out for the long-distance award. Florida is at least a driving-day closer.
