Default Snow, 928, bald tires DFW fun.

This is Angela coming home about 5 minutes ago. We've had a few inches of snow in an hour or so. Ang had a 2 hour drive home in her car...... Let's just say I've not put the new tires (Thanks Ed) on her car yet.

Pics are of her trying to get up the driveway.

I knew I felt a disturbance with the force earlier, now I know what it was.

That was, most likely, her cussing me for working on other cars instead of my own.

I was 1/2 way through a TB/WP job when this stuff blew in and had to go pick up the kid from school due to closing.

Only snow man of the year and we are up to 3.5 inches with more to come. And yes, we are having some drinks. The entire metroplex shuts down when it sleets or snows, so everyone is home now. (Dallas drivers are pussies)

I love it. If it is going to be cold, it might as well snow. Just yesterday I was out washing the new arrival in 70 degree sun.

Yea, these tires need changing. Sorry for the blurr, using the kids Nikon and it isn't perfect.

That's hard to imagine at temperatures in the 70ies over here... Glad Angela got home safely!

I assume she did not have to climb any major hills with those tires, right?

Look like it's not through the wear bars yet. Still good.

Actually the wear bars are already gone through. Just didn't expect bad weather and planned on putting the new rubber on Saturday.

Angela appears to be too young to drive a 928 in the snow...

Damn!
I was counting on the wear bars to grip the snow.

Tried driving on freshly fallen snow on Yokohama AVS Intermediates on my Audi ages ago.
It was Tefloney.

That's my 11 year old daughter starting a snowball fight

It was definitely a "white knuckle" drive home. I slid quite a few times, going up even the slightest hill was NOT easy. I'm home safe and sound.....glad to be snowed in
