Mad MAX rides again!
Max-
I'll make this public just to draw you out for the deserved celebration. How did things go in Tyler? Trust the return trip was uneventful & glad you dropped in.

I was so glade to be able to stop by have a cup of joe and see first hand the variable ratio rocker assembly. I think you have a good product with great potential on your hands.
All in All I am very happy with the quality of work and attention to detail that both Marc and Jim @ DEVEK performed on this motor. Hans @ Advantage Porsche in Houston did a super job with the install and with the help of Guy @ Dyno Technik in Tyler the car runs like a raped ape without the Flappy. In fact it is down right scary power, it pulls hard all the way to red line! The best part is on the way home tonight it averaged around 22-23 MPG @ 70 +? MPH.
The Dyno work went very well, after Guy (Tuner and Owner of Dyno Technik in Tyler) had made a few good runs, Marc discovered an inop "Flappy" due to a missing vacuum check valve, a vacuum leak, a possible in tank fuel line problem and the car was running on the high side of warm (radiator needs to be cleaned). I think we did about nine or so runs and the car ran in the 309 HP and 312 TQ neighborhood.
I will be coming back up your way for another Dyno session @ Dyno Technik as soon as I complete the need repairs, a few PM's and maybe a mod or two.
Cheers

I wish I could have been ready for SITO, but it was just not meant to be I guess. I am somewhat familiar with the roads in Arkansas (made for shark driving) and knew you guys would have a great time on them (Bitchin' curves!!!).
If memory severs they played Richard Wagner "Ride of the Valkyies" as it slowly approached the portico.
Well, lets not make it whenever! Donald and I talked about getting a group of 928 owners together in Texas in short order.
Cheers

P.S. I will have that disk ready this week and will get it to you very soon.
