torque wrench question

Funny that this thread came up. 4 hours ago, I just picked up a loaner (click wrench) at Autozone. Brand new. Not used once. They pull these from the floor if they don't have a loaner on the shelves. If you opt for the Autozone loaner route, I wouldn't be surprised if you get a new - or nearly new one. Call first to make sure that they have the 250 ft. lbs. wrench. They'll set it aside for you.
The way they do it is you buy it ($90) and they refund your money in full when you return it. What's also funny is that I had guessed at the bolt torque sans torque wrench, and was off by only about 10 lbs.
Seemed like such a short time to use something so necessary. It'll go back tomorrow, since I have no intention on buying this particular one.

I've had bad experience with Husky tools. In my opinion, they are nicely polished chrome plated junk. I will never buy another Husky tool - especially a torque wrench.
I wouldn't recommend buying one from Harbor Freight either - unless you're planning on using it as a hammer.

I have to agree with buying your own if possible. To cover everything I have a 3/8" for inch lbs, 1/2" for up to 250lbs and a 4ft 3/4" for up to 500lbs (for the rear end if ever done again)
