Default 18x8.5 52mm offset front wheels??? Pics Please...

Ok, I don't want this thread to become a flame war, I've searched the archives and done some homework.

There are alot of great looking 18" wheel sets available now on ebay or other retailers such as tire rack.

Rear offsets for the set usually work but most of the wheel sets I like only offer a 18x8.5 52mm offset front wheel.

After a search of the archives the common consensus seems to be that they will work preferably with a 225 tire, but may rub, and also with negative affects like tramlining etc.

I've already checked the wheel offset calculator which told me that they would stick out 32mm farther than the original flat dish wheels...

Now I know some of you have this set up but I could not find any pics of this size mounted on the front.

So if you have pics it would be very helpful..

Thanks for your help.

This is 8.5x18" ET55 and 225/45-18 on '88 S4. No problems and it seems ET52 would work too, barely. Sorry about bad quality pic.

I have run boxter wheels (50et 8.5 & 52et 9.5) on a 928 and they fit fine, you just have to space out the rears.
In fact, my sport classics for sale are those exact wheels.
