Does the "arm" have a bend in it normally, or should it be basically straight?
I am currently about to put my door all back together after having the roller jump out of the track and I have the bent arm.

Take the panel off the other door and have a look! Only takes 10 min.

I have the window motor, arm, etc. out of the door (had to take it out to get at the bend arm).
I removed the shaft the window goes up and down on to make it easier to pull the entire window motor assembly out the bigger hole. I unhooked the cable from the door handle to make it possible to pull the whole thing out without having to take the motor off by itself while it is still in the door.
The motor wasn't working just before I removed it (had worked fine before)....I guess I should hook it up to the battery and make sure the motor works, then do the switch swap to see if it's a switch (by the way.....does the one fuse control BOTH window controllers??).
A question for those of you who have re-installed the motor.
I plan on putting the motor/arm back in first, before I re-install the shaft the window moves up and down on. Is this how it is done, or should the window be on the shaft before I put the motor back in?
I've noticed that when I put the wheel back in the slot on the window, the motor won't line up with the holes in the door.....I assume I have to move the motor so the arm is in the "up" position until the motor lines up?

I did not take out the shaft when I removed and reinstalled the window motor. It's tight but possible. The holes on the motor are not lining up because you need to adjust the motor somewhat using the up/down switch until the holes do get lined up.

I put a hose clamp around the shaft to keep the glass up...........installed the motor then the arm assembly and alinged it all by 'tweeking' the switch until all lined up.
I still have the scrapes on my hands...........that and the door handle.
