I am not sure if i may post this advertisement here. I posted it in the classified section but this section seems so underutilized as there are only 5 items listed for sale for our 928s and these conversations seem well browsed. My apologies if this is inappropriate and will not do it again if someone lets me know about it. I am new to these forums and not very computer savy.
Anyway, here is what i have.....
I 'inherited' a bunch of battery ground cables which work nicely on my two 928s. They look identical to the originals except these are silver in color and when scratched with a knife reveal copper coloring beneath the surface leading me to believe these are copper with either nickel or zinc plated over the surface. A strong magnet has no attraction to these cables on the braid or the ends indicating they are not iron or steel based. Most of them measure 17.75 inches long overall and there are a few longer ones in the box. I don't need so many-just one each for my cars so i will sell them for $25 each plus $5 to cover the average shipping cost within the USA. If outside USA, actual shipping needs to be determined for compensation. Email me at Howells4@rcn.com or call 610.391.1542 for accomodation.
P.S. I also have a pair of new Bilstein front shocks for sale. Inquire if interested.
Happy motoring........

How much are you after for the shocks? Will they fit an S4? Do they come with all the necessary hardware?
Please be aware that when you advertise something for sale on rennlist that you have to list a price.
Cheers,
Myles Garmonsway

Here is a picture of the front shocks. They are Porsche part #928-343-055-06-M12 manufactured to fit your 1984-86 928. They came to me new in the box but did not come with mounts (were they supposed to?). Check to see if your mounts will accommodate this shock for your car. These are stock units which i purchased new a few months ago and never installed because my mounts are for a different type of shock. The California 928 parts dealer who sold these to me would not take them back so i am stuck with them. (He shall remain nameless for now but i was VERY unhappy with his attitude.
Pelican Parts, a wonderful source for Porsche parts at fair prices, sells these for $299.25 each ($598.50/ pair).
I will sell them for $400.00 plus shipping.
