tie rod ends - male or female? '82 euro
OK, just got my steering rack rebuild and ordered some new tie rod ends.
The old ones coming of my rack are male, the new ones are female. ???
I looked at the PET, seems all tie rod ends are female from '78 through '95.
shop i got them from stated all tie rod ends are female...
I am confused, what could be going on here?

If you order the tie rod ends they come as female for some strange reason.
It was one of my first mistakes when I started my business.
You need to order the complete tie rod to get what you need.
The early Tie rods are $64.95 each.

I ordered tie rod ends from a low cost website.... I've since learned my lesson. 944s use the other tie rod ends and a lot of the large sites seem to confuse 924, 944, and 928 components.
