Default need a little timing belt/waterpump help

I'm starting the disassembly and it doesn't look like the center timing belt cover comes off without removal of some the power steering hardware, I guess it's called the "console", the part that you use to adjust tension. It sits in between the power steering pump and the alternator.

Is this correct?

Thats correct - read the Pirtles write up that will walk you through the whole proceedure.

Thanks, I'm trying to print a paper copy of that page right now but it isn't going to let me. I guess I'll have to take a copy of the web page and bring a laptop into the garage.

Here's another related question for you:
I plan to install the PKsn'r instead of rebuilding the original tensioner. Can anyone advise me on which parts to leave off when ordering the stuff I'll need to do the job? I want to replace all related components even if they look good and which water pump is the one you guys trust?

Many thanks!

dont forget to replace the oil pump seals one O ring and the front shaft radial seal , Motorsport in Utah has good fresh rebuilt water pumps (fresh means the seal and bearing have not been on a shelf for a few years) Also consider to replace the front crank radial seal

When omitting the OEM tensioner I left out all the rollers including the ones below the crank, the bracket off the water pump, its bolts and the bolts for the w.pump.

You'll need a new tensioner gasket or make your own.

Look at Porken's web site for full instructions.
