Plug wire removal

Plug wire removal
I know this sounds like a dumb question, but is there a special way to remove the plug wires from the plugs? I tried to remove them by simply pulling, but they seem stuck. I didn't want to try to force them as I wasn't sure if that was the right way to do it.
Thanks

There is no trick. The plug connector boot just seals well onto the plug's insulator and into the plug well. Just twist it back and forth a little and pull harder on the connector (not the lead itself, of course!!).
The plug connector is solid plastic, in an "L" shape. It won't break (though I am sure that someone will prove me wrong!!).

The high tension wires are fitted with terminal ends that screw into the plug connectors which connect onto the spark plugs via holes through the rocker covers.
To remove high tension wires, remover the spark plug connectors from the spark plugs (A special tool is required to pull these connectors out of the rocker cover access holes, I use a curved twin prong fork which fits under the upper flange of the connector to lift it straight up), draw back the rubber boot off the connector along the high tension lead and then unscrew the connector off the high tension wire's terminal.
