Post Passenger Seat Removal

Hello,

I'm struggling finding how to remove the passenger seat. I looked in the 928 manual and it only had one sentence(not very helpful). I seem to think I have the front bolts out, but I'm not quite sure how to remove the rear of the seat. Any help would be appreciated.

You'll need an allen bolt (size I am not sure of) underneath the front part of the seat. Use a ratchet and start screwing the bolt, the seat will move via manual mode.

If you have the manual seats, it is just the same as the front part. Move the seat all the way forward and take the two 10mm bolts out. The bottom may requirewedging something in there to keep the nut from turning if the nut is not the stock hunk of metal.

watch the "nuts" or whatever the allen bolts are screwed into. They can fall down under the floor where the seats attach = PITA

Ooops, your right about the retainers or what ever falling. It is a huge PITA. My solution after one of them falling, was to put my trusty retrieving magnet near the retainer. This way if the nut or retainer would fall off it would not turn me into a cussing frenzy. <img src="graemlins/cussing.gif" border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" />
