Atten: Literature junkies...
Hi everyone. Yes, me posting to this board is very unusual! I was going through some misc items in my garage yesterday, and I found a sales brochure for an S4. The following photos (sorry, my low level of photography ability is only lessened by my 3-year old, megapixel-challenged camera) show the brochure and its cover. The brochure measures approximately 11" x 14", and is still sealed by a piece of imprinted factory tape (seen in the first three photos below) that's never been cut or removed. The brochure itself is approximately 20-pages (I can see page numbers on lower page corners), and contains spectacular photos and text. The cover is imprinted as shown, as is the tape that secures the brochure. I have no idea what this item's value might be, but if anyone might be interested in purchasing it please pm me. Thanks!
Pictures are: (1) Front, (2) Back, (3) Seal tape, (4) Jacket, (5) Brochure in jacket, and (6) Print on outside of jacket. Neither the jacket or brochure appear to have UV damage.
Note to admin: Sorry for posting in this manner but I thought that this item is so model-specific that I didn't really know what to do with it. If you want me to move it to the classifieds please let me know. Thank you!

This was special brochure done by PNA which purpose was to push 928 sales back on track as right around time it was printed sales feel dramatically. Plan didn't work and number of sold cars kept going down each year after '89. It seems to be fairly common item. Many good condition items at least were available on eBay while back. In any case its different from anything else done at the time and maybe 50% larger size than normal period prestige brochure printed for each model year. This one is printed on very thick paper too. More like cardboard than normal paper.

Yes, Erkka, the paper, even for the interior pages, is very thick, and very high quality. Because I don't want to open it, by cutting the special tape, can its publication/distribution dates be estimated?

There's no month/year print date in it like normal brochures have. Based on pictures and text it was printed some time between late summer '88 and winter '88/89. There are pics of digital dash which was introduced in '89 MY in August 1988 yet there is no mention of GT model IIRR. It was introduced in around February 1989.
AFAIK idea for the brochure was to mail it to potential customers. They were selected based on household income. Lower income limit was something high like $500k per year or something like that. These were not meant to be given out at dealers to walk in customers.

Thank you, Erkka. I can't remember how I obtained the brochure, but I've had it for at least 15 years. One of these days I've got to get my literature collection organized!

Thanks, Mike. It doesn't look sealed, and it might not have a jacket, but I don't know if any of that has value. I'm going to watch the eBay item over the weekend...
