78-82Euro Partsfiche to CD conversion
I finally got the 78-82 Euro partsfiche so I'm trying to put together a group to go in on converting it to cdrom. If we get 10 people we can keep the cost to around $20 per or so ( I think I've got 4 or 5 now).
If you're interested, please email me at jim928@ptd.net and send me a statement that you own the fiche and would be using the cd as backup (my somewhat weak attempt to keep out of trouble). The other fiche conversions came out looking good.
thanks,
Jim

I hate to sound computer illiterate, however I am BIG TIME!!!! What is a fische??? I would be very interested if I could gain access to any type of wiring diagrams of the air conditioning system or about the idle adjustments of a 1982 928. Feel free to e mail me at apowell@terraworld.net My boyfriend would appreciate any assistance you could lend him.

Snowball-it'd be better if you got the US 78-82 which I've already done. I'll email you off list w details.
Swinger- my laziness, 'fiche' is short for the Parts Microfiche. This shows a blowup picture of each assembly on the car w part names and part numbers. Nice because it gives you a sense of how things go together and whats behind some of those other pieces. It doesn't get into any repair or adjustment procedures, for that you need the shop manuals. I'll email you off list as well.

OK, Snowball..think I got it (the pumpkin that it is). I'm in SE PA, about 1 hr north west of Philadelphia so it's unlikely I know your bud. Haven't read that book or heard of it, sounds interesting, I'll have to look for it. Scranton a hot bed of criminal activity...whodda thunk it? You're in WV?
