Post Cali 928 groups

Hey guys! I'm thinking about restarting my life in california, and I'd be leaving a phenominal group of guys up here in the PacNW 928 group who I'll dearly dearly miss, but I want to stay closely connected with the 928 groups in my area, so is there any group that covers the LA area or around Irvine? What group covers what is what I'm asking. Thanks guys!

Sounds like you may be a candidate for SoCal 928, Barry.

Here's the link to their domain:

SoCal 928

Perhaps Keith or Dan, two of the founders of that group, will drop by here and give you the low-down.

Hi Barry,

You will be ending up in the SOCAL 928 zone.(lucky for you! )

Go to the link that Randy listed and join up. You will definately get your fair share of 928 fulfillment down here.

I will contact Adam for a reference on you...just kidding.

A pre Welcome to you.

Barry,

I live just a couple of miles from Irvine - I'll look forward to meeting up with you. I think your Shark will enjoy the weather here more than in WA...

Definately join SOCAL928 - it's FREE and you get a neat decal!

A free decal! Oh man, I'm there!! Actually, plans have changed, quite drastically. I have an opportunity to move to South Africa, at least for the non-summer months, and I think I'm going to opt for that . However if I wasn't going there, I'd be hitting up you SoCal folks immediately. I really would like to take the shark to SA with me, but I'm not sure what that would cost me, but if there is a will, there is a way, right? Right. Sorry I won't be joining, but I will be down there for the upcoming Devek Days drive on that sunday, so you'll see me if you're there. My Marine Blue with polished flats should stick out, but I will moreso. I'll be the youngest owner there soaking up knowledge and meeting new enthusiasts.

Hey Tim,
Heading up here? Cool! You're more than welcome to our group, the PacNW 928 group that is. In the summer, well we'll get some stuff going and make sure you experience the roads up here, at 928 speeds :-). You can check out pacnw928.com and see whats up, although our site kinda is lacking in updates and pretty much a lot of stuff. You can email me anytime with anything you want/need and I'll make sure you're taken care of. Actually, when you roll into town, if its early enough, I'll plan a dinner for you to meet the guys and talk 928s and what not. So, I'll look forward to hearing from you! Later Tim!

Barry,

Thanx'z for the warm welcome Washington is my old stomping grounds so it'll be good to be back. Should be up there around the first couple weeks of June with Sharkey in tow. Maybe you know of a road where there isn't radar...

Will you be gone before that time in June?

Hehe, yeah I know of some quality, oink-free roads up 'round these parts . I'll be gone at the end of August or somewhere around the beginning of September, so we'll definately have time. Just give me some advance notice with the day and time you'll be here and I'll personally make sure we've got some event planned for you and a welcome dinner. Sound cool? Later Tim!
