Making my car slower
I recently found out how to make my car slower (at no additional cost) Just do the following:
1) Have your best friend get a 2001 996TT
2) Have your friend do the Ruf R Turbo conversion
3) Convince your friend to let you take it out for a spin on the lightly travelled local interstate
4) Drive your 928 back home
5) Try to figure out why it feels like you're driving with the emergency brake on
Opening his car up (with him in the passenger seat) was one of the more amazing experiences I've had in a car. My girlfriend said I had a sort of dazed expression on my face when I got back. I think I'll only get that sort of acceleration if I drive the '89 928 off a cliff. The coolest thing about the experience, is that I still feel the same way about my car. I love getting behind the wheel, and I love the styling ( I still turn around and look at it when I park) It's good knowing that even after driving a bona-fide supercar, I still feel I made the right choice getting the 928.

Right on! Hell I even used to feel that way about my old 924. Now that feeling has been multiplied with two 928s. Just can't get enough of 'em.
