Trouble shifting into first gear

Trouble shifting into first gear
Hi All,
I have been having trouble shifting into first gear,
All the other gears are fine but first is trouble.
To get it into first i have to push the stick quite hard in the direction of first!
Starts to become anoying when racing those pesky ferraris <img src="graemlins/cussing.gif" border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" />
Can anyone shed some light/ideas/causes/fixes on this problem?

Not that I can answer your question, but anyone in the know would need to know the specifics of your car. Please provide MY and any mods to the car that might be related.
