UPDATE:

There is a group of 30 ahead of us scheduled to run a "grand prix" beginning at 6pm. That will roughly take until 7:15, possibly 7:30, before we get on the track. It all depends on when that first group gets started.

I spoke with the manager at Kart 2 Kart, and although they normally only provide catered food (requiring groups to order and pay in advance), they'll have menus available for us to order stuff like pizza and breadsticks. They also have vending machines, coffee, chips, etc.

Update: The wife is sick and I swear she's PMSing like a Blue whale (not really sure if they PMS, but if they did I thinkit might be like my wife is today!) SO there is still a chance I can make it.

Here's a few pictures of the evening. We had a GREAT time. Davek9 and I traded paint constantly during our second race. He kept trying to pass me so I kept driving him into the wall. He's the guy in the white shirt...I'm immediately in front of him in this video...
