Their is a organization, a loose one at that, in the Denver Metro Area, called Rocky Mountain Sharks. Many of the menbers are also Rennlisters and post on this board. I would sugest that you email Ralph at ralphn@newstripe.com and ask him to put you on the mailing list.

Sign up for Rocky Mountain Sharks, come to one of our get togethers and introduce yourself. Then, pick a date, buy beer (lots of it), some food and invite everyone over for a wrenching session. We have a few 82s in the area.
Everyone's getting stir crazy because of the winter, so looking for a reason to get out and about.
Also, PM mrmerlin (Stan Kolen). He is a local owner and a 928 guru and mechanic who can help you out with things you may not be able to or want to tackle on your own.
