Yokohama Tire Update (EVS-AS100's))
For those of you interested, I have an update on my Yokos - and running them in an AX yesterday.
(Quick history - My car came with Eagle GS-C's that I hated...I bought a set of S4 slots, and put the Yoke's on them - and LOVE the way they ride. THEN - I found a set of 17" 996 wheels, and ordered a set of the Yoke's in 17" for them...Decided that the 'almost new' 16" Yokes and S4 wheels would be for AX and DE)
These Yokes were essentially new! (Only about 750 mi on them...and with a good alignment on the car). First really "HARD" driving with them. 7 good, hard AX runs, on a pretty twisty ~.9mi course. EVERYONE was surprised at:
1 - How well they stuck (at least when I finally found a decent pressure...started @ 40....ended up at 35 back, 36 front)- considering they were 'street tires' with FULL tread depth ...and
2 - How well they held up! VERY LITTLE wear evident on drivers side...just some minor scuffing. (it was primarily a hard left turn course - at least for the higher speed sections...) Right side showed some decent scuffing - BUT - NO CHUNKS! I figure at this rate, I will get probably 6-8 AX/DE's out of them!

I can post pics if anyone wants to see.
