Noisy wheels / bearings?

I have done several improvements to quiet down my noisy shark, such as resealing the windshield, installing new door seals and adding some insulation.
But I find my 928 to be very loud. I initially thought it to be the tires, but having had several sets of tires I think it might be wheel bearings. Since I don't have any comparison it's hard to tell exactly how loud is normal. But I remember from my first 928S I used to own back in Germany that it was nowhere near as loud.
How would I check if the bearings make the noise?
regards,
Sab.

The noise from a bad wheel bearing will get louder when you make a turn in the opposite direction of the bad bearing due to a heavier load. If you noise is the same all of the time I would look for a bad CV joint, differential, transmission or torque tube.
