My other ride is an 81 931 (924T). It's stock except for a 930 wastegate so it puts out nearly a much HP as my 928's yet it is 600+ lbs lighter.

My other performance car is a 928 ....track time for this one:
82 928 (91 S4 motor, GTS flares)
For those sunny days and twisty roads :
04 Ducati 998 (Matrix Edition)
For when that twisty road turns to gravel:
91 BMW R100 GS/Paris Dakar
And for hauling the kids around:
97 Volvo 855 R

No performance car, but pretty and fun on twisty Norwegian roads.

Sportster 1250+ w/Thunderstorm heads, Andrews cams, S & S Super E carb and misc. other bits and pieces.
A pair of quarter horses that keep us busy as well. Horsepower comes in many fun forms!

It's not bad actually. In a straight line it's pretty much non-existant, but if you bury the throttle while turning you'd better have a tight grip on the wheel.
Complete riot to autocross, easy to steer on the throttle and enough power to surprise a lot of cars.

Ian, what year is the Spitfire? I had a '63 that I ran SCCA G production in years ago. An absolute blast to drive.

In addition to the '91 928GT. 2004 Volvo S60R (daily driver), '68 Triumph Bonneville (would love to get a Ducati 996 or 998 sometime), and 2007 GT3 ( the ultimate expression of a tenuous engineering premise).
