Model rarity of course! Local Porsches are a-dime-dozen, especially 911's. You may think you have the nicest and fastest 911 around but it's all been done before.
Not so with a Shark. In SA I'm the first guy ever who's turned a 928 into a track car and, oh boy, am I lifting some eyebrows!

I actually sometimes wish it wasn't so rare... it gets irritating to see how many vendors have parts and accessories for the other models that we can't use!

That was fun.
It appears that the main reason for 928 ownership stems from our independent, non-conformist nature and desire to separate ourselves from the pack.
