HVAC blower / Front winder defogger - same motors?

After wiggling the relay a bit and pressing it firmly down, the blower is working again. Thanks for reminding me to check the simple stuff first.

you should also check the fuses in the CE panel ,If you find any that have corrosion then its a safe bet you blower box is leaking onto your CE panel when the car gets wet, A blower box reseal may be in your future. If you do find corrosion it should also be mentioned that all of the relays should be removed and inspected, any with corroded pins should be opened, I have found relays filled with rusty water , and the thing is is that the relays are fitted pin side down on the CE panel. If your fuses are corroded they shouls also be replaced with a good clean set fuse/relay chart here www.928gt.com

Mrmerlin:

Neither the blower or horn relays, nor the 30 amp fuse for the blower showed any signs of rust or corrosion. I've had other relays out, too, when I did the engine rebuild(s) and everything was clean. Hopefully I'm good (for now).
