Default Sway Bars- upgrade

Does anyone sell stiffer front and rear sway bars for the 928?
DEVEK used to have front bars but I don't see anything up on their new site.
928 Specialists no longer list their sway bars on their website.
I have a street/track 928 with Koni/Hypercoils and would like to upgrade the sway bars.

Give 928 Specialists a call. Maybe they just pulled them off the site short term until their supplier catches up. I just installed mine, they're nice.

The specialist ones are nice and you get a front and rear for what some fronts costs ($500). Why anyone would spend $1000 on sway bars for a street car is beyond me.

I am a bad boy, i didnt read the entire post, this is for a track car, ignore the above

Maybe because they want to rip the sway bar mounts off the frame.

Didn't they mention something in the past that an aftermarket sway bar is a significant improvement in the body roll our cars make?

If you feel that your 928 has too much body roll then increase the spring rates that helps keep all 4 tires working and lessens the front end dive under braking. Sway bars/ antiroll bars borrow spring from the inside wheel and transfers it to the outside wheel. Poorly set up 911 race cars will often lift the inside front wheel off the ground in hard cornering but last time I checked tires on the ground have more traction than tires in the air !! In addition body roll is not necessarily all that bad a thing on a car like a 928 with double A arm front suspension where the camber change is designed to be better than a strut suspension.

Don't most Volkswagen's do that on the track?

Find an increased stiffness swaybar that doesn't. Avoid using the stiffest setting on the 928 Specialists bars and you're fine.

I've seen pics of 944s dragging their stock front bars on the track after breaking the mounts.

The OP has multiple 928's and races/autox's most of them. He has a need for the sway bars in question.

At present I think Carl @ 928 Motorsports is the only game in town when it comes to sway bars.

Yeah, except on the "wrong wheel drive" stinkwagens it's the inside rear that lifts. Very comical!
