Membership is $95 a year one day driving is about $140 or two days for $225. Most are at the Streets of Willow near Rosamond California ....hotels rooms are $50-$90 per night. Call the chief Instructor ahead of time and tell him you drive a 928 and want Jim Bailey to instruct....no special equipment needed other than a helmet and the club has loaners; must wear long sleeve shirt ,pants ,closed toe shoes. Car is "teched" at a the track 7 am I usually am one of the people doing this. 8 am MANDITORY drivers meeting. Usually run 5 different run groups based on average lap times all get 5 runs 20 minute each day. New students are in the SLOW SLOW run group until they earn the right to move up . You need a transponder to get your lap times they are rented for $30 and you see every lap that you run.... As a student You are allowed to ride with instructors during their run sessions. The Streets Of Willow has expanded over the years and is now a 1.8 mile track 13 turns depending on how you look at them. A bit over 100MPH at the end of the two straights depending on the car. We run clockwise and counterclockwise so the second day it is ALL A NEW track ....great time usually 100 plus cars 90% Porsche cars everyone is welcome to come play. The vast majority are street driven mostly stock cars but some of the Big Boys also show up for tune and testing. There is a LOT of open run off most places and very few places where you can get in much trouble at all but people still manage to find them once in a while
