While passing through Wichita, KS in route to Colorado from Houston on Tuesday evening, I spotted a pre-87 getting on, and I mean GETTING ON, highway 96. It was an unusual but nice looking color, sortof a cross between purple and pink? Nice wheels too, anyone on the list?

It was probably the father of 928 Owners Club 2000 convention, Marc White. He has one fantstic '84 Euro that has a supurb paint job. He likes his 928s and drives them that way.

If you look at the latest SITM pictures, you'll probably find that car.

I thought Marc's car was an 80 or 81. It used to be his Dad's and he had it refurbed. Last I knew he had the Technology wheels on there...unless he changed them again.

He has the sister car to mine <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> Mine is an 82 weinrot with C2's...which he used to have also.

Thanks for the info guys. Something very cool about seeing an accelerating 928 when you've been on the road for 10 hours and you are far from home.

Tell Marc thanks very much for the offer, but we will be returing via the non-interstate route, through Amarillo.

Wish I had my shark up here in the mountains of Colorado, although it would have had a VERY hard time with the jeep trail I took yesterday. Gonna go for a loooong drive when I get back.
