All,
My GTS is Black/Black and the color code on the door post and in the build sticker is labeled as 741 Schwarz. All the info I find suggests the basic non-metallic black code is 700. I can find no mention of a 741 code. Do I have some special color (Huh its black) or is there some other explanation ? Want to order the right touch up paint...

Anyone else have a black car with 741 paint ?

Come on all you late model Black cars...someone must have another 741 color code? I can't be the only one with this "Special" virtually unknown basic Black right?

I found a Porsche color matching paint from another manufacturer for "Option Code 741 black with clearcoat" but no Porsche mention of this color anywhere - whats up with this ?

I also have a special paint code no one seems to have, but it is not black. Mine 966 light copper metallic. 82-84 years, very close to cassi-rot.

It came from the 94 Service Info Manual. The 92 and 93 editions do not list paint codes so I can not answer your question. The 92 edition is about 70 pages of info on the GTS - send me an email if you want this info.
