'92 GTS from Japan - CANADIANS????
A new listing on eBay is a '92 GTS auto with ~27K miles in Japan, Buy it now is $16,900 US (may be even less in CA $!!!). It looks great, wood interior option, as well as fabric seating surfaces.

I bet VIN, engine and gearbox numbers will show its actually '91 MY S4 which was first registered in April 1992. Also before registration it received GTS rear fenders as S4 was hard to sell once GTS came out. One indication is redline in rev counter. IIRR in GTS it should be 6600 and not 6400 like this one has. Another sign is S4 rear bumper. Those extra rear lights are interesting.

be careful on this one
I think its a scam, or at least a bull**** play on stereotypes.
Notice the almost deliberate interchange of "L"s & "R"s. I have known a few Japanese in my life, and while they had problems enunciating English, their spelling is often better than most recent HS grads.
YMMV

+1. Be very careful. this car or I should say these pictures have been on eBay several times. His English gets worse with each ad. Note: is there a vin listed anywhere? Note: It costs $1600+ship across US. Oh, note his feedback, no worries there either.

I also like Erkka beleive this is a factory dressed up S4, very beatuiful colour.
It does not have the GTS ventilation tube on the engine between valve covers and it does not have the isolated intake tubes either.
They could have been replaced but with the low mileage adverticed that should not be the case.

He's always got two or three Porsches for sale at any given time on eBay... I don't think its a scam per-say, however I would expect a few headaches should you proceed.

Chuck,
Yes - I saw the interesting appendages on the rear bumper. Didn't, however in my very brief look at the listing (not interested for myself!) catch the red line and the lack of a center reflector on the rear between the tail lights.
Cheers,

From what I've seen of ex-Japanese cars that are now here in Alberta I'd be going over any car imported from there with a fine tooth comb.
Thats not to say there aren't good cars to be had; just what I've personaly seen.
