Valve sizes
Anyone know the following?
I was looking thru the valve sizes in my 87 S4 earlier today. Noted that the Intake valve = 37mm, while the Exhaust = 33mm.
Possible to increase the Intake size? If so - to what?

Larger valves can be made to fit in there, but I'm not sure of how big. Devek has high flow 32 valve heads with larger valves in them, so you might want to talk to them. Someone locally is thinking about installing a set. Apparently the pistons have to be cut for the additional clearance needed by the larger valves. Supposedly this can be done without removing the pistons from the engine, or the engine from the car.
