No go, it's all hype. You'll get better performance out of your 928 by putting sticker son it. Part of the issue is the dual power-conversions from crank-power to alternator electricty, then back to mechanical power at the supercharger; each time you lose energy in the conversion. You might as well hook up the crank directly to the supercharger to begin with.

You may notice that the guy behind this gimmick raced in the SpeedvisionGT series in a 928 WITHOUT his own electric supercharger installed...

I don't know anything about Mark's e-ram, but you can get a complete Vortech kit for late model 928's from Forced Air Systems of Texas (F.A.S.T.)
