I have a 88s4 and my motor mounts are worn .i would like to replace can anybody do better than 350.00 a piece....does aftermarket matter ????

Devek has the stock ones on sale for $175 each. A couple of people have used mounts made for some Ford applications. I'm in the process of replacing the mmounts on my car right now. I ordered the ones from Devek. The alternative ones are cheaper, but I'm wondering how long they'd last, since the 928 engine is a good bit heavier than the ones those other mounts are intended for.

 

There are 2 different models of the alternate MM's. Both are made for Ford vehicles - 1 is made for the passenger car line, while the other is made for the Truck line.

I installed the alternate MM's intended for the Truck line application last summer. Currently no problems with being smashed (the MM's that is!)
