Default My wrecked 928 in perspective:

I just got done looking through 928SG.com and although I haven't seen any pictures of the damage, I'd like to put my recent experience in perspective by comparing it to what Sterling has gone through. There are many truly great and brilliant people who have done incredible things for the love of our cars and whom we are thankfully well acquainted with here. But as far as the lengths that a single 928 owner has gone to create the ultimate 928 Sterling is one of the greatest. My loss that you've seen here, and that I've moaned about so incessantly can't possibly compare to what that man has gone through. So although I don't know him, I'd like to tip my hat and have a toast to the guy. Sterling, you are worthy of the title "Hero" and I admire the hell out of you. Cheers!

Nicole!!! You totally subverted me! Now it looks as if I brought this topic up right after your post. As if people didn't think I was lame enough as it is, now I am stealing sentiments from a fellow Rennlister! Couldn't you have just have waited 45 more minutes? Honestly, you already have an esteemed position here whilst I am still clawing the dungeon walls for mine. Shame. Shame on you!
p.s. Do you like Japanese food?

Your Alright Dude...
Try to get your car from the insurance company - they sell back cheap - with a little bit of a fight you can keep away from the florida "salvage title"
Sorry for your loss....................
If you need a hand, and there is anything I can help with - PM

Mike, yeah I know. I just don't like my thunder stolen (Thief! Nicole!!!). I am going to try to get the car back. As far as me needing a hand, I have to warn you to be careful of what you offer, it will not be long before I will need 4+ hands and multiple brains to work on the 928 I bought to replace the green one.

Yes I know, it was H2 who ruined everything, not Nicole. I am now officially a moron in my own dictionary.
