Question AC control head

I'm restoring my 928 1979 euro and i'm working on my ac control head from the console. I will change the two sliding ***** and i began fixing the kinds of flexible light conductors (looks like optical fiber) there are two set of these light conductors, a set of two togheter (mine are ok) and a set of three togheter ,here is my problem : on the top set (the set of three) 3 conductors are sending light, one goes behind the top of the fan speed selector switch , the second one goes in the temp. sliding **** and the other one goes where ???
any help will be appreciated ,please be specific cause english is not my first language (unfortunately) and i might not understand the first time or if you got a picture it will be heaven. thanx

As I recall - from having done this myself in my 1980 Euro last year, there should be two fiber optic lines for the fan speed selector (1 at the top, 1 at the bottom) - then there are two more lines which are actually inserted into the two sliding ***** (1 for temperature, one for selection of eco/auto/defrost). If you've got these then you should be fine. Hope this helps!
