87 s4 crank no start
guys,
I have a 87 s4 and it cranks and no start .if you jump thefuel pump relay shell run the lh control umit has been replaced also .no signal going to pin 85 on the fuel pump relay I assume this grounds the relay from the lh unit.I heard things about the alarms causing a problem.have any ideas.

To see if the problem is in the alarm system, pull plug Z (red one on the right end of the central power panel) and connect a jumper between terminals 1 and 6 of the central power panel plug.
This kills the alarm system.
