Due to a momentary brain fade when attempting to tighten my alt belt, I bent the tension bolt, and likely need to replace it. Does anyone know the length, diameter & pitch of this bolt so I can get a replacement before I tear into it?

For what year? PET for '83-91 says part # N 010 248 1 M8 x 60. Dunno the thread pitch, but it's probably 1.25 mm.

 

he has an early car, 79 iirc.

But I believe it to be M8x1.25 thread pitch as well, not know the length though sorry.

 

'78-82 says N 010 274 1, but no measurements. 928SP says M8x 75. $2.23.

Can you tell I should be working on my grant application instead?
