Beep, Beep, Beep
My friend and remove the tray below the glove box and the center console to get at one of the flaps that was not closing and letting in hot air.
We corrected this problem and replaced the center console and tray, we had cool air and every thing worked but... when you place the transmission selector to "R" there is a "beep, beep , beep" that is continious until you change the selector also if you open the glove box you get "beep, beep, beep"
If you look at the alternator guage it does not move with this "beep, beep, beep" so I am not drawing much current
I drove it today for about 120 miles and everything worked great except for the beeps when I went into reverse.
We know this was caused by something we did when we removed and replaced the center console, but looking at schematics can't find anything that is common with transmission selector and glove box.
Any suggestions? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

Well we found our "beep beep beep" a ground wire on the back of the fuse/relay panel had come loose and was causing my problems.
The ground was being completed thru the transmisssion light indicator or the glove box when it was opened <img src="graemlins/jumper.gif" border="0" alt="[jumper]" />
