Let's see: We have a 91GT, arguably the rarest of the GTs (I say that as more and more 89GTs seem to have surfaced). On top of that, it's Coral Red Metallic. How many of those are out there? And, it's well maintained. What's not to like???

Be patient Rob, you have a beautiful and unique car. Just have to wait for the right buyer to come along.

Hmm a velvet red 90GT or coral red 91GT....now thats a serious dilemma.....I wish I had to make that decision!!!

Brian - if money were no object, Rob's car would be in my garage...right alongside a certain Rhodamine Red GTS (the one Tom in Austin bought)

If I had the wherewhithall, I'd own it! And that great burgundy/black 85 Euro 5 Speed that sold out of EBay Maryland for 8K a couple years ago...

Yes, the car was sold. A Rennlister who was watching the car in the first auction called abot 7 hours before the auction closed to complete a deal. I'll let that person identify themselves but it looks like it will be going to a good home!

Great news... It was probably Ed since he just sold his auto and really REALLY always wanted a 5-speed, despite Roger's influence.

I'd rather have a 5 speed despite what Roger says too. I will say that I've never driven one and may change my mind after I do.

Default NOT!

All,

Rob's Coral Red GT made it to its new home in Virginia Beach, VA yesterday.

I had been eyeing it from Baghdad since Rob posted it here, then listed it on Ebay the first time, then the second time when the deal fell though.

After much discussion with my lovely and understanding wife (this is our 5th car for 2 drivers), I jumped on the opportunity and called Rob from Kuwait on my way home and PayPal'ed him a deposit to cancel the auction. (Did I mention that she is smart and talented as well?)

I flew out this past Friday and drove it back over the weekend.

It's great to have a 928 in the garage again. I missed my 86 5 speed, and this is a great replacement.

I look forward to hanging out on the Shark side of Rennlist and meeting some of you at various events.

George
